Vicki and I have been very fortunate to have been given a place on the Great East Run Outreach Programme 2019!!

This means that on 22nd September 2019 we will be attempting our first ever half marathon! (We are as shocked as you are, but apparently it is possible 🤯).

Our 16 week training programme began on 28 May 2019, on week 1 we were barely able to run 30 seconds so the thought of running 13 miles is absolutely terrifying, but we are determined to do everything we can to cross that finish line and do Mel and ourselves proud. 

If you’re able to make a donation we’d be incredibly grateful, we’re raising money for St Elizabeth Hospice where our much loved colleague, Mel Mayhew, sadly passed away in January of this year. The hospice plays a vital role in providing end of life care and they rely heavily on donations to provide this much needed service. 

We're really going to need the support and encouragement from our friends and family so if you’re free on 22 September 2019 please come along and cheer us on!
